Pheromones in Humans
Pheromones were first discovered in the year 1959, which led to various developments in different aspects of behaviors and relationships. Pheromone is a term that indicates the typical chemical substances excreted by the animals when they are trying to pass a message to the opposite sex. Extensive research and clarification identified that pheromones also include some other species lie insects, mammals and the humans. In fact, the presence of pheromones in humans has become one of the most talked about and researched topics of different researchers all across the world.
Pheromones in human beings are technically linked to process of reproduction and attraction between the opposite sex, men and women. According to different researches, the real effect pf pheromones in human beings can as well be detected from the relation between a mother and her child. Studies have revealed that humans as infants have a strong attachment to their mothers via their smell, sound and texture. This is a unique bond that is seen in every species.
Like in all other species, they have a typical way of picking up messages via pheromones left by the mother; infants usually display certain distinctive characteristics that help in recognizing the pattern. Such methods of recognition led the scientists to deduce that the pheromones in human beings functions very much like pheromones in all the other species, though it is not usually pronounced.
Apart from these regular studies conducted to understand the relationship between a mother and her child, there are several other studies that are still being conducted. Some of these studies have revealed that pheromones play a great role in attracting people, especially the opposite sex. This is one such factor that has been criticized, but there is a section if the community that does not accept this fact. Scientists are however trying to do some more research on this area to get some clarity.
Pheromones are known to facilitate attraction in human beings, according to studies. It is basically the “X” factor that people often talk about. Pheromones determine the “X” factor in human beings. Pheromones have some typical genetic coding that is usually excreted for attracting the opposite sex; this implies to all the species.
Whether pheromones actually work or not are a mystery for scientists and therefore humans do not really have any idea about the same. However, people have been using the same for many causes and particularly for attracting their mates.
It is also being said that the attraction that occurs due to pheromones is usually through smell or odor. Considering this, there are many pheromone based products that have cropped up in the recent past with claims to help you in attracting the person you want. The truth however, is yet to be identified.
